Hi - thanks for taking the time to read this and embarking on a journey with me!
I want to give a shout out to all my friends who supported me and provided a sounding board before putting my ideas out there for all to see (it’s pretty scary).
A special thanks to one of my favorite members of the community, @Liberty, for giving me the push to finally share my thoughts.
Why now?
I bounce between times of extroversion and introversion—in the more recent years it’s been strictly the latter (Thanks COVID!). As an introvert, I’m trapped in my mind a lot and thought this may be a good place to jot down some thoughts.
As I explore the post-grad life and beginnings of a career, the spontaneity of meeting new peers has seemed to disappear. All my friends are busy embarking on their own journeys and my colleagues are vastly older, which provides for great mentorship but less of a forum for debate and idea flow.
Inspired by Liberty reaching 200 chapters(?) in what seems like a blink of an eye, a short chat with him, and a slightly more open schedule, what better time than now?
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best is now.

Content?
It will be mostly free-form as most of my ideas seem to be half fleshed out.
✍️ When it comes to ideas/information in this interconnected world, most people are a mix of various ratios of: creators, curators, amplifiers, appreciators, and cheerleaders.
— Liberty’s Highlights Edition #88
I’m definitely very much an appreciator and curator, with maybe a hint of cheerleader. I won’t have many original ideas, but I hope to be a glue that connects different accounts and spur conversations.
There won’t be a specific quantity of topics or the same ones every week, but they will encompass my interests (of which there are many).
Expect to see a lot about business and food in NYC.
Goals?
200 editions
Kind of arbitrary, but considering Liberty’s 200th edition is one of the catalysts it seems like a good benchmark to use.
2x a week
Aiming for Tuesday + Thursday/Friday. Writing isn’t easy, but habits take time to form. 2 years seems like a good length for this experiment.
Learning
I’m putting my ideas out there as a way to stress test my ideas and hopefully create a discourse that will open me to new viewpoints and experiences.
Discipline
I consider myself happy-go-lucky. I’ve always optimized for the easiest route above a certain level of satisfaction (going for 70% with 1 hour of work vs 10+ hours to get 90%+ of my maximum possible result). Putting this in the public sphere will keep me accountable, even if no one reads it!
X-factor
Who knows what will come out of this? If it makes even one person (me!) live a better life, I would be happy. I’m generally optimistic about humans and the internet as a whole, so here’s my little piece of it. I hope good things will come out of here!
It’s a learning process, be nice! 🙄
